I post the domains name so people could see what site i was talking about, thats normal the way to do that, an all do that on CAC, PAP, GPWA , but maybe not on this forum

Not good, PokerXperten!! I had delited the domain from this post beacause Google do not like when people trading text links... Google will see and probably punish you (set down your pagerank or ranking in the search engine). Only give URL via Personal Messages (PM)! For your own best!!

Sometimes I can't help thinking that many SEO-advices are based on Google hysteria. I mean, how far can Google go in their hunt to find out things like this? If it was true that Google can punish a post like this with URLs in it, it would be easy to start a PR-degrade war on your SERP competitors.

What I'm saying is, don't be hysteric about every move you make. Google has many other more logic and fair variables to put their calculating resources in.

It is true that you should not be to concerned or hysteric about every single move you make. But some word spaces, like gambling, is closer watched by Google than others. And if they suspect link selling/buying they will investigate it.

Question is, how do they investigate it? So if you are correct, they have a spider that "flag" suspected sites. Then they make a manual check. I saw in some post that Google had two people hired to do manual checks for the Swedish SERP. Interesting and good. As long as your site contains good content that is relevant to the keywords, my believe is that they will have a hard time penalizing your site even if its obvious that you also are getting unnatural links.

So, the old rule still applies (according to me), content and in-links is "king"

Well, it’s not very hard to investigate something you find proof for on a public SEO forum. The thing here was the fact that the original poster did publish the URL’s of the sites where she/he sells links...

I'm afraid we don't quite understand eachother "webguide", my post was about the fact that we fear things like this too much when it comes to Google SEO. Never mind, I think I made my point.
