International Brand Manager

About the position
You will be a member of the Area Northern Europe, which is responsible for the identification of market opportunities, development of market entry strategies and implementation of agreed initiatives/activities for the Northern European markets in order to achieve overall company's market objectives.

You will support the brands Ritmeester, Al Capone and Dannemann in Northern Europe (Denmark, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Scandinavia Duty Free), based on priorities as defined by the Area Director Northern Europe.

The role is to maximise the brand potential through development and implementation of brand marketing strategies in line with defined brand objectives and guidelines. You will be responsible for managing the marketing mix for the assigned brands for the defined markets. The International Brand Manager is constantly searching new, innovative ways to market our brands. You report to the Area Director Northern Europe.

Key responsibilities
  • marketing sparring partner for the Area Director and respective Country Manager to identify market opportunities, strategies and to implement initiatives/activities
  • to work closely with Area Director to ensure that brand identity, guidelines and strategy is in line with strategic direction
  • responsible for activity plans for each market and timely execution of activities
  • to develop and execute in-store marketing tools and trade & consumer programs
  • to cooperate closely with Country Managers and importers/distributors to execute defined marketing activities
  • to develop and implement market research programs
  • to work closely with central marketing and to participate in BS Group marketing meetings and projects
  • to take active part in budget process, preparation of Board Meetings with Country Managers
  • regularly reviews of brand performance, suggest ways of improving the performance, Product Management, reporting, stock and order management of trade marketing material are other key responsibilities


Professional experience and specific skill requirements
  • min 5 years of experience in Marketing with focus on brand management, trade marketing and product management for branded FMCG
  • managing a number of brands for multiple countries
  • research about legal requirements, understanding and implementing them
  • experience and interest in consumer and customer-relationship Projects
  • ability to establish direction and clear goals
  • to develop plans and mobilize resources to achieve goals
  • review performance against plans and take action
  • travelling, driving license is necessary
  • experience in sales is an advantage


Education
You have a Bachelor in BA with Major in Marketing and Sales or equivalent.

Language
You are fluent in English and Swedish language, spoken and written.

Other information
The position is based at the office of Area Northern Europe in Malmö, south Sweden, but traveling to involved countries will be a substantial part of the position. You could live at other places in South or middle Sweden or in Denmark, but must have a private situation that allows you traveling.
